So um, yeah. My mom has lung cancer. I don't think I've even physically said those words once since I found out, let alone write them. She doesn't smoke, but she used to work my grandparents' restaurant.

Been bouncing constantly back and forth between absolute emotional numbness and random bitch-fits. But I guess I can't do much about it. Cancer is so common that it's not even shocking anymore.

I have been seeing the school social worker though. It's like, incredible. How people can actually have a job where they do nothing but listen to people's troubles. I'd never be able to do that. I'm really grateful that there are people like that. And doctors. Nurses. Teachers. Custodians.

So if ya know any awesome people with jobs like that, tell them PROPS. MAD PROPS.
